Question for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Can you get rid of a death warrant? I don't even know if it's possible but if anyone does know please help me out.

I'm going out on a limb here and guessing a death warrant is a bounty high enough to where the guards want to kill you. If so, joining the thieves guild might be helpful. Just go to Balmora Southwall Corner Club and talk to Sugar-Lips. You can then go down the stairs of the club and talk to the guy behind the counter, If you drop all your gold before you talk to him, he'll think you gave him the gold.
