Question for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Can you own your own house?? Or your own land?? What else can you own besides the stuff you carry on you??

I killed the pwnbroker in Balmora. Dumped all my stuff in there, went out and found a guard and paid my 36 gold for my bounty. Now I use the pawnbrokers house as my own. I am not sure if you can actually own a house or land though.

If you want to have a house just kill some one (mine is in cathedria or watever it's called) or if you want advance in the houses and you will get you own stronghold.

Ps: you can also ows slaves, go to tel'aruhn for this

To get your own house join a house and do quests for them eventually you can build a stronghold
