Question for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

I have GOTY version and am currently exploring solsthiem and I keep finding frozen corpses in the burrows called Stahlrim, which when I try to activate, it says I don't have the tools to do anything with it. What are the tools and where can I get them? I know the stahlrim are for weapons and armour, but I can't get any.

HELP ME!

Its embarassing not to be able to do this, I can do anything else...

To get the tools to get the stalrim you have to start working for the East Empire Company. You can find the bloodmoon factor in the 2nd floor of the err.. Armory or temple in the fort there. After you do a few quests the 2nd in command will ask you to choose sides either with him or the factor... And the factor is an ...well hes not cool. So I always side with the 2nd in command who you will meet on you're very first mission you do when you escort some miners to the new colony which if you side with the 2nd will become your colony because you become the factor. Anyway once you get a few quests in the 2nd tells you to go find some nords up pretty much in the middle of solstrem he gives you the axe you need to get the stalrim and once you get it his 2 friends make the armor and weapons except shileds which 2nd will give you after you save him from assassins. If you want to gather stalrim the axe MUST be in your inventory if you drop it you wont be able to collect stalrim.
