Question for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

I have heard that there is a object called an "Ebony Scimitar". Is this true?
If it is, where can I find it and how can I obtain it?

Yes there is an ebony scimitar and it's in mournhold. It's being carried by a full magical suited guy.of course scince I'm more of a agressive guy I killed him and took it pluss you get all of his sweet armor!!!!!

The Ebony Scimitar is wileded by the High Ordinators in Mournhold. There is also an echanted version, used by the Her Hand's Ordinators who Guard Alamlexia. During the Mournhold quest, you actually get to take on one who has gone rogue, and take all his goodies! (Don't wear the Helmet in town, though, and don't let them see you wear the curaiss)
