Question for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

While I had a price on my head, I talked to one of the Ordinators in Vivec. I beat him and stole his armor. I cleared the price on my head. I walked up to another Ordinator who told me that their armor is sacred and he attacked me. Now even though I do not have their armor, the Ordinators attack me before I even talk to them. It is making it REALLY HARD to get around Vivec! What can I do?

I had the same thing happen to me and I had to restart my game, that was the only way I got out of it. Oh and by the way if you go anywhere other than Vivec the ordinators will keep attacking you.

The one thing I found was attack an ordinator from a far distance with a bow or something and when they come running at you hit them with your fist and it will come up with you have broken the law blah blah blah pay gold go to jail or resist arrest choose go to jail when you go back to Vivec they won't touch you.
