I'm getting this game in a few days. I am a Vet when it comes to RPG's but I'd like a little help this is what I've got so far for a starting character tell me what you think.

Race: Kajiit

Class: The Bandit

Sign: The Shadow

Major
Skills: Block
Light Armor
Marksman
Mysticism
Security

Minor
Skills: Acrobatics
Alchemy
Mercantile
Short Blade
Speech craft

Hmmmmmmm....... If you want my opinion I think that if you are going to be a Kajiit, I would just make him a complete thief character, like this:

RACE: Kajiit

Class: Custom Class

Specialization: Stealth

Major Skills:
Short Blade or Marksman
Security
Sneak
Light Armor
Block

Minor Skills:
Mercantile
Speechcraft
Acrobatics
Short Blade (if you have Marksman as a Major)
Alchemy
This last space is your pick (if you don't have Short Blade as a Minor Skill)

Sign: The Shadow or the Tower

Trust me you can have a lot of fun with a thief character in the Thieves Guild and it will be very helpful if you have a high sneak level.

But thats just my opinion.

Do NOT use the shadow as your sign. Use th lady. Other than that you have good choices. But I think custom classes work a lot better.
