Question for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

I am wearing the garments but they still shoot me.

Is that how I get into the Sand people's territory?

I get into their territory and the Sand People attack me...I'm so confused!

Nothing works!

I'll try the Sigil combo though.

If you wear the Sand-peoples clothes then they shouldnt attack you but once you get in the camp you need the droid from the shop otherwise just fight your way through.

You need to equip the gaffi sticks also

I didn't need to use the gaffi sticks because I used my lightsaber the whole time. I used the sand people robes but don't try to talk to the guards because they will see your disguise and attack you anyways.
