When upgraded all the way, the ford gt is the fastest with a top speed of 205 with close mission, I believe. With the other gear kit it only goes 148

The answer is in the title. The Ford GT (the yellow one) has like 602 hp!!!

Ok!
The best car overall in the game is the VEMAC RD350
Has good handling and great take off but it's not the fastest in the long run
The fastest is either that ford gt concept or the Ford GT90 which is hard to unlock
