Question for Red Dead Revolver

Hey does anybody know how to beat the last showdown, I think it's Mr.black you're fighting.

Coz after you have a duel with him he gets back up and runs through the town and it;s pretty hard to shoot him because if you get too close he shoots you, and if you don't get close to him he shoots one of the towns people and the you lose, if anybody knows an easier way plz tell me.

It is not mr black it is kelly and the only way I beat him is I throwed dinomite at him and hope it doesnt kill alot of people
