OK....I escaped the tomb and made my way to the hall with two "demons" and the two "ninja" looking vampire girls. It takes forever to kill with the small knife I now have, and then I go into a room in which the narrow walkways fall out. I throw a weapon at the first girl that drops down, proceed, and ANOTHER girl shows up!
1st...now what? I don't have another weapon to throw?
2nd....after falling I have to go back and refight the ninja girls. Is there a more efficient way of killing them than what seems like hours of knife cuts?

A bit late to give an answer as you've probably worked it out by now.
When on the beams facing the ninja, wait until she makes a move and jump (A) to avoid her attack and then strike out (X) and she will fall to her death, even using the dagger.
