Hey i'm just starting out with the prince of persia fun but I can't get past the monster in the arena-- i've tried everything-- is it posible to get a bad copy that won't let you move on -- does any one have any hints

No bad copy, first run right up onto a ledge and then from there use a speed kill, do it again and then start choppin at the back of his legs. Then speed kill again
