Yea Alma was pretty hard. Lucky for you your going to have to fight her again later on

Ok what I did was before I got to her.... You know when you are in the tomb and it floods... There is a little path under the water to the right of the elavator... You can swim under there and you will find a save pont.
So you can just start off from there cause if you save the game in the tomb I know its a pain to have to get the skull key swim to get to Alma then die and restart.
When you get to Alma watch her moves good. When she starts to get some pink stuff circling around her run to the right or left and jump up and down you should be able to move and not get hit. Some times she will throw some half of a stone column at you watch how they come at you carefuly and move out its way.
If I remmber right you can block one but when a secound one comes it will hit you.
Also she will charge at you - let her but make sure she don't hit you. If she misses you she will stay on the ground and try to fight you one on one melee.
Run up to her and try your best to do a combo even if you don't do a good combo run I swear she will grab you if your good when she try to grab you.
You can jump over her or roll out the way. Also when she flying you can try to jump up and hit her sometimes it will work. If you find your self in a tuff spot use the Inferno spell so that non of her attacks will harm you.
Also its good to use when she is charging at you and should that pink stuff and trying to grab you. If your real good you can get her to follow you in a corner then shot her bringing her to the ground.
I've already beat the game in 6 days so I know a little bit on what to do in every spot. I wish you luck Ninja Gaiden is going to get harder after that.

Shes pretty easy actually just keep using the jump forward y attack on alma when shes on the air or the ground. It also helps to use your nimpo on her if it hits her she will be stunned then go up to her and try to do a nice combo on her.
Oh ya and you have to fight her a second time later but shes lots differnet. Beat her the same way that time to. Good luck.
