Near the end of the game! Inside the pyramid after you fight Alma!..

Question for Ninja Gaiden

Near the end of the game!

Inside the pyramid after you fight Alma! There is an unusual mirror (on the bottom floor).

Across the room from the mirror there is an altar with two stands beside it (one on each side of the altar).

The mirror shows the stands lit on fire but not outside of it. Plus you can't do anything with it if you complete that chapter.

The game says the altar came be used for something but how? And what does it do?

That is the only thing that strikes my attention. Good luck answering it

Go to the real altar and use the firewheels ninpo. This lights the altar as in the mirror image and you are rewarded with a jewel of the demon seal!!
