Ok, about 3 of these guys are wrong. This game does work on the xbox 360 and it will save on the hard drive, because I am playing it on a 360 now, and it saves perfectly.

No, it can't NFSU2 isn't even made for the 360 so NFSU2 for the xbox can't work on the 360.

What domanater316 is saying is entriely false, you can play NFS:U2 On the 360 along with other xbox titles, you just can't save them to the 360's hard-drive as they are not a 360 game.

Yes you can play it on xbox 360 as my brother used to have need for speed underground 2 and he played it on his xbox 360

You can play need for speed underground 2 on your xbox 360 anything, you can save it to your hard drive, only problems are that the soundtracks are a little skippy, and the FPS drops everyonce I a while

Hi guys, just to inform as mentioned you can play it, and it just jolt during the cinematics.

I can't seem to find the ability to save it to the hard drive anymore though!

Check the xbox original game compatability list for xbox 360 on wikipedia SIMPLE! You see whgat you can play and so on

Okay. I bought NFSU2 for XBOX on eBay because I read on Wikipedia that it's playable on my 360 Elite because of the backwards compatibility. I put the disc in, and I got the message "the game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again". So I did some research to find out if it would really work or if Wikipedia was lying to me. I read that there are counterfeit Xbox360 HDD's (Hard Disk Drive) out there which work like an authentic Microsoft HDD but do not allow backwards compatibility. So I bought a used HDD online. And viola. The game works. Now granted the cut scenes are slow and choppy, and the occasional frame rate drop, the game works fine. So to answer the question, YES. This game does work on the 360.
