Question for Need for Speed Underground 2

I am on stage 4 and I haven't unlock the 106, on some walkthroughs that I have read they state that the 106 is unlocked at the begining and that it should be one of the cars that you can choose for your first car but it hasn't been unlocked, asuming that the people who wrote the walkthroughs are wrong then when is it unlocked?

It should be on the carlot the frst time you race.

The 106 is one of the first cars that you can get, when you go to the car lot in the begining of the game it will be the first car that you look at.
