Question for Need for Speed Underground 2

Ok I have no idea how to tune a car in this game. I NEED MUCH HELP! Some things on what to change, or how they should look, would be very helpful. Right now I'm playin my career with a turbionium, but when I go on live I will be using a 350 z so if some one has a really good setting for the 350 z I would really apreciate if they told me how much of each setting to use. Thnx.

Go to the dyno tune menu click on the tuning part it's easiest to just move the slider at the bottom move it towards acceleration move it like once or twice at a time! Then go do a dyno run and see how much it changed. I had xbox live but my account ended so... I got smoked by other people but thats because they spent hours perfecting there car. I use a supra it's really fast <3. The 240sx is the fastest car online. Hope I helped a little bit!

Ok.....for suspension, the lower the ride height, the better, generally. I know in Gran Turismo 2, I had to raise the front ride height of the Viper, but only for the Viper....

A good place to start is with the default settings, then drop the ride height all the way down

After that, start with the sway bars. Sway bars control body roll in turns, and by doing so, control lateral (side to side) weight transfer.
A stiffer sway bar will keep that end of the car flatter, but it will slide easier (ie, to cause the back end to kick out more, make it stiffer, if you spin out on corners a lot, make the back softer. If the front "pushes" on corners, make it softer, if it cuts in too quick, make it stiffer). If the whole car slides easily, soften both about equally, if you want it to slide more, stiffen both equally.

Once you can't get it any better by adjusting the sway bars, move to the shocks. The shocks control the bouncing motion of the wheels and the car in general on bumps. If you've seen a car go over a railroad crossing and bounce 5 or 6 times, it's because the shocks were bad. The shocks also affect weight transfer (but less than the sway bars), so adjusting the settings will affect how the car takes corners. Like the in-game tips say, you can control oversteer (back wheels losing traction first, aka spinning out) and understeer (front wheels losing traction first, aka pushing). Adjustments have the same effect as the sway bars as far as stiffer and softer. Keep in mind, though, that the shocks also affect how the car responds when it hits a bump (like the curbs and sidewalks).

Next is springs. The entire purpose of the springs is to keep the tires in contact with the road when you hit bumps. Adjusting them will affect weight transfer, but less than the shocks do. They affect forward and backward weight transfer *much* more than they do side to side, so the handling difference is primarily bumps, acceleration, and braking. Like the sway bars and shocks, the stiffer, the less weight transfer you get, and the more bumps affect the car.

This is a bit long.....I think I'll let someone else tackle the other areas....and if any of this info is inaccurate or vague, by all means, CORRECT ME!!!!!!! I'd much rather be corrected and find opponents who have learned the right way to set up a car, so I can have a challenge, than run into a bunch of people who've used bad tuning advice who don't have a chance.
