I'm stuck on race #86, can anyone tell me how to beat it and which car is best to use on this race.

That is exactly where I am right now and I am using the skyline, so you should use it too. The reason being, it has better acceleration and handeling than all the other cars, and has a very high top speed, you see the key to any race is to just keep trying. Hope this helps you.
