What kinda codes has anyone found using the "hot keys"?
Or what else are they used for?

Hot Keys are your way of saving codes.
The original Hot Keys are useless, so you can overite them without worry.
You can save your codes so you won't have to type them in each time you restart the game, you can enter your code for a cheat effect e.g. Defens for Agro, then you can save that code as a Hot Key for later use (I forgot how you save it though sorry!).
