If the back has not called for a fair catch (off a punt) or line the person up with the ball square.

Then use the hit stick (Right analouge stick)in a direction.

But beware if you mis-time the tackle or the player jukes you will be left one the ground like an idiot.

Alternativly use the black button this will try to strip the ball from the player.
