You could give em' your Round One pick and then draft a crappy guy for them.

Or you could go to the main menu (not in Franchise mode).
Then click rosters. Choose the player you want. Select Release Player. Then go Back to the main menu. Then Go to Rosters again and select the team you want the player to be traded to E.g. ST. Louis Rams. Then select Free Agents.
And sign the player. However this may not work in Franchise mode straight away. So you may have to start a new Franchise.
