I have repeatedly tried to get into "GOD MODE" for this game using the cheats code. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong with the following cheat code directions..???

At the "Press Start" screen before going into a loaded game or starting a new game. I push the "Directional Pad" UP, UP, then, DOWN, then, UP, then A,X,A,B, then, UP, then DOWN, Y, START (while holding the L and R triggers)

I never get the music sound that indicates God Mode.

What am I doing wrong???

Don't do it at the Press Start Screen.

Do it at the main menu (New Game, Load Game Artifacts etc.
