I really hate this rule of sorts, but unfortunately, I do not think that it is possible for anyone to take more than three guns on a mission with them. I know that I usually take the Silverballers, SMG tactical, and the W2000 Sniper Rifle on all my missions as that is usually all that it takes for me to complete my mission. However, when I attempt to take the shot gun with me, I cannot. If you notice though, there are Five Weapon slots shown so that must meant that you can take up to Five weapons with you on a mission. I guess the key is just to find out what weapons you can take with you on a mission, and find out what weapons you cannot take with you. Hope this helps.
