Date of Question: Feb 1 2006 | Question ID: 48155 How do I beat Professor Quirrel and those annoying dogs? Everytime I kill them, more come out of the circle. I am stuck here and need help. |
I haven't done it yet either yet honestly, but I have a theory. Use Lumos on the dogs until you kill one. Get to the front, and Flipendo Quirrel before he can summon another. Now theory time: Use Incendio to light him on fire. I haven't tried this yet, but I intend to tonight. If this doesn't work, just lumos the rest (and Flipendo Quirrel so he can't make any more). Hopefully, when you get all four gone, a cutscene will go up and you'll have to fight something else, or maybe just Voldemort. I know not.

Once you do away with the first one, the barrier will drop and Quirrel/Voldemort will try to ressurect it with a spell; hit Q/V with Flipendo, knocking him down, before he can cast his spell; go after the rest of the gytrashes aggressively now, but keep an eye on Q/V-if you see the barrier drop (he will try it several times) hit him again with Flipendo; you should be able to deal with the last 3 gytrashes quickly.
