In order to get higher than bronze you need not worry about the time but how many beans that you get. Collect all of the beans for a gold.
To get higher than bronze you must collect more beans to gain/certify the gold but it is hard though you might think it's easy.
You have to get almost all the beans.
I only missed a few with time 4:17 and got gold.
Don't worry about life and speed.
To get bronze: you can miss a LOT of beans.
To get silver: you must get quite a lot of beans, but you can miss up to approximately 5-6 rings of beans.
To get gold: pretty much try to get all the beans but if you miss more than approximately 1-2 bean rings you'll probably get silver.
Hope this helps
