i have the console devmode thing, when i start playing i click th "~" button and the pink letters at the bottom show up, i enter the code exactly the way i saw it, but then it says " request:" the cheat i used" cannot be executed. PLEASE HELP!!!

Okay, Go to Setting, and I think, Controls or Something...Then, Click at the bottom, Advanced button. With the Dev Mode on. and Turn on "~".

I need help on how to turn on devmode. I looked on sites and they are way to complicated. There like "The bill of writes was signed by 13 members. 13 times 2 is 26. The number games the lakers lost in 1931. 1931 divided by all the sites better than this means you have to go meet a midget in south carolina named thorton." REALY THATS BULLCRAP! So please help me on how to turn on devmode! please!
i had same problem and tride to do what first guy did and it wont let me press the advance button
You must click the button 'y'to your say to team and just put the cheats at the box
To get console devmode you right click on the halo icon before you play it. You then select properties and next to target you put con sole devmode in the end it should look like this "C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Halo.ex" -console -devmode You then bring up halo. Go on the campaign and click the button under escape whilst playing a mission on the campaign. You then enter the cheat you want to do. Click the button under escape when you are ready because if you don't the game will freeze.
