How do you not hold wepons in multiplayer?

To hold no weapons in the game you have to use a mod or become a hacker. To mod you have to buy special attachment to hook up to your x-box and then you have to change the context of the game youself and some how get the changes to the attachment. It all sounds too hard for me and I've heard it's expensive too.

Not hold weapons? Please explain this better and then post it again. I mean I really don't understand.

The game has to be oddball.
The only weapon is plasma pistol.
Charge the pistol up and shoot AND puck up the oddball while running forward.
As you pick up the oddball,run back.

You can only do this on one level and thats on co-op at the very first level you start off with no weapons and then just avoid picking them up I had a comp with my brother how far we could get on ledgendary with no weapons ...... We both didn't get very far

Why would you want to not have weapons? You'd be screwed if you
ran into an enemy.

Well you can go to any level on splitscreen and make it oddball and have nothing but a plasma pistol and charge it but dont let go the go up to the skull and hold x then u should have no wepon but b careful you can still pick up stuff with out pressing x.
