Hey! Well there are a whole lot of skulls in the game that do a buch of things but only a few are fun to get.
1.) sputnik: makes explosions bigger but not more powerfull.
go to the level "quarentine zone" on legendary. At the beginning turn around and head thrugh a little tunnnel. Go almost straight to the side of the "giant pit of doom". Walk to the little ledge with the cliff on the left side. Keep kalking on it. There should be a skull floating there in midair. Hold X to grab it. Be sure to save and quit to keep the effects.

2.) catch: enemies drop and throw more grenades.
go to "metropolis" on legendary. Play through till the first room outside the tunnel (it's the one with all the jackals sniping people). Clear the room of all enemies. (the sputnik skull helps alot here) go to the giant arcing thing in the middle that leads to two gaint pillars. Grenade jump on to the arc and walk up it carefully. Once at the top go to the left pillar and walk around on that ledge. The skull will be on the end.

3.) grunt b-day party: head shot killls makes enemies explode like plasma grenades
this one is a little hard to get. Go to "the arbiter" on legendary. Play through till you get in a banshie. Head preatty much straight down, not to the bottom but far. Under a flat part and above where the structure curves down (sorry for the lowsy description) you should see a ring of grunts dancing. They won't attack you and the skull is in the middle.

Those are the three I always get. Unfortunatly the skulls effects don't work on multiplayer and go away once you turn off the X-box. Other than that have fun!
