Does anybody know the best weapon used to kill hunters on ledgendary?

Well, my friend Casey tries to kill me with a needler, I suggest to wield needlers if thats ALL YOU HAVE, that means at the least!!

Probably the best weapons to kill them would be the rocket launcher or the sniper. I would cary both.

Also note I am finding more about the situation but I hear some crazy thing that the covenant pistols ( I forget the name but if you hold them they light up) are the best weapons in the game but that could be a rumor.

To kill hunters you have to shoot the orange parts on them.

These are located on the face/neck and stomach/back.

I find the best way to kill hunters is to snipe their faces.

Whether this works on legendrary or not I don't know because I have'nt tried it.

The best would be the Rocket Launcher. But, if you don't have that, you can use the Sniper Rifle or Beam Rifle for lone range and the Shotgun and Plasme Garneade (sneak up on the and throw one on the orange part) for close range.

You could snipe it from far, as it will deal with effective damage.

Pistol shots will not work.

Well that question was asked and answered right below this one and gtasean88 still doesn't know what he's talking about!!! Swords don't work at all and in levels with hunters there are no sentinal beams! Listen to everyone else because they're talking about the right weapons for the right enemy. No harsh feelings gtasean88 but you probably still need to find out what hunters are.
