Skulls are Easter Eggs that are shaped like human skulls and provide something close to a cheat, to replace the idea of no cheats allowed.

You can only find these skulls in levels, like Arbiter and Delta Halo, played on Legendery.

Only a few, like the Blind Skull in the Outskirts level, which gets rid of the HUD, can be found on any difficulty.

These skulls usually provide bad for you "cheats", yet are sometimes good and are really funny. These are the closest and only things that "cheats" for Halo 2. So completely ignore all the type-in cheat codes, for there are none in Halo 2.

To diseffect the skull, turn off your Xbox. When activated, the skulls effect will stay on, even when you change levels, change the difficulty level, or both. Check out the Forums for more places for skulls, but I'll tell you where I know where some skulls are.

On the first playable level, where tou have to go through shield checking and stuff, choose Legendary as your difficulty level.

When you step in the shield recharger, Sergeant Johnson comes in, but don't go into the elevator until he says, "Will it help if I say please?", but this might take a while. When he does, go in the elevator and then in the tram car.

Stare at the Earth until you come to a bunch of crates stacked on top of each other and the skull should be on top of one.
Effect: All enemies will know were you are at all times.

On the Outskirts level, you can choose any difficulty, go to the alleyway where the Grunt is. There is a light above the door in the alleyway.

Crouch-jump, do this by jumping then press the crouch button in mid-flight, on th light, then crouch-jump on the ledge in front of you. Turn left into a small alleyway and at the end will be the skull and some Fragmentation Gernades.
Effect: You will loose your HUD.

Go to the Arbiter level and choose Legendery. When you meet the Heretic for the first time, and you have to escort a Phantom, get in a Banshee and go straight down. Eventually, you will see three cylinder-like objects, so go to the middle one and turn right under a support beam.

Under that support beam, there will be a bunch of Grunts dancing in a circle. In the middle of that circle will be a skull.

Effect: When you shoot enemies in the head, they will blow up like a Plasma Gernade.

First off the skulls are things like easter eggs in the game that give you bonus stuff second, they give you powers like infinate amo and infinate invisibility for the arbiter and master cheif, and third I don't know where to find them !

Arbiter_DX answered:

You can find the Skulls on any map on legendary.Just on skull is found on Easy.
you can find the "Ghost" skull on the "Uprising" level on legendarRight after the armoury turn around and look up.you could see a thing you can grenade jump to.

when you grenade jump you see the skull right ahead. Its easier to grenade jump with the "Sputnik" skull at the "Quaratine" zone level at legendary.
Right at the start right behind you is a cave.
