How do you blow up the bourder ships in the first level?

If you are talking about the ships that look as if they are latched onto the side of the station and sucking the glass then you don't need to blow them up. All you have to do is kill anything and everything that comes out of them and when you have done that move on.
If you are at the part I am thinking about then a door will blow up behind you (after you have watched the station opposite blow up) or go down some stairs that lead to a door with covanent behind it.

If you're talking about the pods that are filled with Covanent in Cairo Station, you don't destroy them. Just kill all the Covanent that come out.
You can't blow up the border ships all you have to do is kill all the enemies that come out of them.
Yeah, you can't really "kill" them.
You just have to kill all of the Covenant troops that pour out of them.
