The Elite guard is about as hard to defeat as a normal brute. Always use covenant guns against the covenant, preferably use the pistol and the rifle. Charge up a shot, then shoot one guard with it and their shields will instantly go down, then just kill them. I hope this helped out dude.

They are easy if they have a sword keep some space between you and him if he has a gun I use plasma gurnades
