Question for Halo 2

How are you supposed to destroy the covenant bomb on level one?

I know this is a stupid question but will you tell me because I'm stuck. oh, and this is on campaign multiplayer.

You kill all the enemys in the area and then run to the bomb.

I think you just defeat all covenant forces around it. thats what I did and yes...

...I did beat it on cooperative.

Master chief will ask how much time was left before it bursts and cortana will answer, "You don't wanna know!"

Kill everything in the room. Its easiest to shoot them from a distance and hide behind the walls. When your shield runs low, hide behind a wall and don't move. Also jump alot, they dont like that. When everything's dead, go up to the bomb i cant remember if you have to press the action button or not, but its pretty straight forward.

Once you have killed ALL the covenant that are hanging around the bomb, just walk towards the bomb and the game will go to a Movie sequence with mastercheif getting rid of the bomb.

Thats where I am stuck also.....
I cannot locate the Bomb. You can go downstairs to the next level.. but I think you need to locate the bomb before you go there, otherwise it's a lone battle.

Looking forward to someone finding out.

The bomb is the big, purple, spikey thing in the middle of the room!!!!!!!!

You go through the level defeating all of the covenant and then you kill the elites surrounding the bomb and then walk up to the bomb and then you'll watch Master Chief put Cortana in the bomb, then they'll open the airlock and master chief will take the bomb back to the covenant.
