I thought if you beat the game on heroic you got the hidden multi-player..

Question for Halo 2

I thought if you beat the game on heroic you got the hidden multi-player land. Well I beat it and I didn't get it now I see you have to beat it on legendary to get it well do you have to beat in one player mode or does it count in co-op because I was in the middle of the game in one player playing heroic and I started a new game with my bro on normal on co op and we beat in one day but I check what number of levels I had left and it had all of them and when you go into the profile it says how far you have been and what level.
So what I'm asking is can you play it on co-op and get the land or could you just play the last level on legondary? or do you have to play the whole game in one player mode.

In order to get the multiplayer map known as "foundation" you must beat the game on any difficulty (except easy I think) in one player through the whole thing. If you do co-op in even just one level you will not get it.

Gameman123, you are not correct about the co-op thing. To get the secret multiplayer mode foundation, on the final level after the scarab has destroyed the door that is in the way of you and the brute leader, do a Banshee trick to the left, to the right, and then up. The directions I just said are the ways the Banshee should go.

In order to get foundation you have to do at least one Banshee trick on any difficulty or co-op.
