Question for Grand Theft Auto III

I am on the mission where I have to take the payroll van in China town.

Joey says to hit it hard and the guards will get out without a fight but when I do hit the van, cops are on me right away.

I have tried everything, how do I pass this mission?

Firstly I will say...Store the van in your garage and fail the mission because you will need it for the list of cars in Portland docks.

Then try the mission. Keep ramming the car and try to keep your own car in good condition as possible. when the van is completely damaged you will have to get into it. After that, it is easy. The van is really string and the cops shouldn't be a problem. All you have to do is drive the van to joeys garage.

P.s I'm talking about the mission "VAN HEIST". So if its not the mission your talking about post in the mission name and I'll give you instructions!

VAN HEIST is one of those mission where the cops are on your tail all the time. The van may be strong but is really SLOW.

You need a strong car that has a reasonable speed. I recommend the Sentinel or Kuruma.

Keep ramming the van as much as you can. The cops will crash into you and force you to stop but try your BEST to ignore them and concentrate on ramming the van. When it stops, hop in and because the van is strong you can smash the cops and traffic out of your way en route to Joeys garage.

P.s An easy way id do the Wanted level cheat. I'll give it to you:
Black, Black, Left trigger, Black, up, down, up, down, up, down

Its handy but COWARDLY

If nothing seems to work then tell me the reason why you keep failing and you will the be..."enlightened"!

Stop your car in front of the van, then just steal it and put it in the garage.
