Yes, I also have the same problem, I've noticed most Ubisoft games have an unskippable opening movie. Ok, the only way I know how to skip the beginning is to play the game often, if you haven't played the game in a couple of days then you can't skip it, if you've played the game then turned it off then turned it back on a few hours later and even a day later then you can skip the intro. There is no button combination.

I'm pretty sure that if you change the system date of your Xbox and/or Xbox Hard Drive, you will no longer need to watch opening movies. It worked for me, so it might work for you!
