How do you break the sheilds in the space 3 part? The stage is with Johnny and Reed. Reed is trying to over ride the self-destructive system and I can't figure out he last step. It's said I have to destroy the genorator sheilds.

There's a line, when you step over it, the shields of the generators close.
Stay behind the line and use a long-range attack like elastic arm or firewall or -ball.
But after that watch out for the buffalo, he is charged with electric.
