The first time you get to choose a quest there's the wasp one and three others: snow troll, surpress uprising, and minion camp. I've never been able to get them because they all go away after the wasp one and when I try to get more renown they disappear as soon as I get 1 or 2 bars of renown. My question is: can you get them and if so, how?

No, you can't do those quests. They're just there to show you what the other hero are doing.
You can get them. But you have to get your reknown up before killing the wasp queen. Just attack a bunch of people in the guild and kill as many as you can. Your reknown will evetually be high enough to do the quests.
