If you don't want to marry Lady Grey how do you get into the cellar at the grey house.

Talk to the man in jail, in Bowerstone North, then go to Barrow Fields and talk to the man walking around near the Demon door, and then go to the Grey House area and go into the barn. When you are in the correct place, your lamp icon should appear on your hotkeys, turn the lamp on and off three times and it will trigger a cut scene of Lady Grey's sister's ghost going into the cellar. The cellar is now open. After you talk to her ghost and get the letter, Lady Grey will show up and ask for the letter. Give it to her and marry her or keep it and you will never see her again. You can also give the letter to the Sheriff in Bowerstone North and become the Mayor of Bowerstone yourself. This is only good for getting into Lady Grey's bedroom to get the Katana Hiryu and a silver key.
I recommend doing the courtship with Lady grey until you defeat Thunder in order to get a Mana augmentation and a silver key. After you beat him and get these items, go talk to the man in jail.
