Can someone give me a list of places to find a lot of books for the headmaster

Try the bookshelves in the Guild and raid the houses in every town. There is only 1 book in Knothole Glade in a house at the top of the hill. You might also try buying them from various shops and traders.
Hero's Guild, in the Bookshelfs and the Guild Library.
Library Arcanum, through the demon door at the guild.
Knothole Glade, in the house to the right at the top of the hill.
Twinblade's Camp, sold by Merchant.
Witchwood Cullis, gate in a barrel.
Oakvale, shop and houses.
Bowerstone North and South, shops and houses.
Hook Coast, shop and houses.
