How where when can I get Avos Tear?

After you beat jack of blades the 1st time go to the boasting platform.then go in the demon door like scythe said and solve the puzzle.now go to mazes quarters & get the book on the book shelf.then go to the 4 graves in the courtyard and read them. 1 will give you avos tear.

After you fight (and hopefully beat) Jack of Blades for the first time, you get to do this puzzle to obtain the Fire Hart. If you have killed your sister before in the Chamber of Fate you can't get the sword. Otherwise, go to Maze's quarters and find some notes in his cubboard. Now go to the four graves in the Guild, and press 'A' as you stand in front of the grave thats reads: 'This grave awaits a Hero worthy of joining the legends who lay here'. It just so happens that you are that hero, and you will now have the Avo's Tear. It does the same amount of damage as the Sword of Aeons.

Avo's tear can only do a little more than half the damage that the sword of aeons can do. I think it has a damage rating of 280 & the sword of aeons has 500. Also, the sword of aeons has 4 augmentations, whereas avo's tear has only 3. After fighting jack the 1st time, go to the boasting platform in lookout point outside of the guild. The guild master will tell you your next quest. After that quest, go back into the guild right outside of the guild shop. You will see something that looks like a shrine. Read the 4 stones around the shrine & 1 of them will give you avo's tear. You can only get avo's tear if you throw away the sword of aeons. Choose wisely!

Getting the avos tear is pointless in the fact that sword of aeons and avos tear are both 230 and sword of aeons has 3 augmentations not 4 like it does in the first fable.if you wanna be good and still have the swordof aeons then take the side quest the ransom victim and go to temple of avo and donate hero save and repeat.you get avos tear after you defeat jack a 2nd time when he is a dragon and just go to maze's quarters and find his notes in there then go to the empty grave and you get avos tear.
