Really? I was under the impression that Xbox 360 couldn't read regular Xbox games. I apologize for my previous answer.

You can't play xbox games on the 360 if you bought a core system. You need a system with a hard drive. This website gives some information on the subject:

i bought an xbox 360 slim a while ago and tried to play fable tlc on it and it told me that i needed an xbox 360 hard drive. cept i'm pretty sure i have one considering iv installed expansions to the elder scrolls oblivion which told me i need a hard drive, damn confusing

I have the same problem, and I don't want to spend a hundred bucks on a hard drive if it won't fix the problem. Supposedly the answer should be on www.xbox.com/games, but it just tries to sell you a copy. I already _have_ a copy, thanks! Grrrrr...
