I kind of like the Cutlass Bluetane and you can get it early in the game, otherwise the Solus Greatsword once you can get into Bowerstone North.

Well personally if your going to be a rogue try and get a light weapon, they swing faster than heavier ones. I don't know why but I always get obsidian cleaver or katana with flame augmentation or silver. If your farther in the game then your going to want to get heavier weapons. And if all else fails the sword of aeons works real nicely.
