I bould reccomend checking online stores, or failing that, something like E-Bay, where it should be around 30-40 bucks.
But if you aren't allowed to purchase online, check your local EB Games/Gametraders store, and look for a pre-owned copy. Again, it should be around 30-40 bucks.

Go to Best Buy and look around the Xbox section, and you should find Fable: The Lost Chapters (Slightly extended version of this game) for ten dollars. Much cheaper, and very much worth it. Alternatively, go to GameStop and ask if they have a used copy of it. Once again, it should be about ten dollars.

I got it at Best buy for about $9.99. Just go to the video game section and look for the xbox games.
