++ Unlocking the Third Devil-type
Unlike the evolutions of many of the other ID's, the Devil-type requires you to fight and collect crystals with a special weapon to evolve his final form. You will need to make Isaac's Chauve-Souris spear in order to evolve the final type. Here is a broken down list of everthing that you will need for the Chauve-Souris:
CHAUVE-SOURIS = Trident x1 + Versatile Spear x1 + Devil's Vein x1 + Dark Crystal x1
Versatile Spear = Trident x1 + Naginata x1 + Ether x1 + Pholgiston x1
Trident = Sasumata x1 + Ether x1 + Aquamarine x1
Sasumata = Ceremonial Tool x1 + Spirit of Fuji x1
Naginata = Sasumata x1 + Steel x1
Material Locations:
Devil's Vein - steal from Isaac 1 (boss in Cordova Town) or open the treasure chest once the lake drains to the side of the first save point in the Forest of Jigramunt
Dark Crystal - steal from Evil Core (before Legion boss door)
Ether - steal from Mage Shaman
Aquamarine - steal from Fishman
Pholgiston - steal from Flame Demon
Steel - item drop from Bone Soldier, Dark Warlock, Great Armor
Ceremonial Tool - steal from Vassago or Blaze Master
Spirit of Fuji - steal from Lesser Demon
After you have made the Chauve-Souris, you must summon your Devil-type while in his second evolution and use your Chauve-Souris spear to defeat enemies. He will evolve into the third form known as "The End" after you have collected enough green crystals.
