second sniper training

Why do they give you bullets after you fail it once if you can't use them? If you shoot someone you get a roe violation.

That is a glitch in the game. The rifle is to be used as a spotting scope only.

Actually it's for the second part of the training. AFTER ranking advanced on the first part of Sniper Qualification, walk up to SGT WALTERS and talk to him, listen to what he says about expert qualification, then walk up to SGT HURT and do the mission again, but fail this time to get the bullets. Now walk up to SGT WALTERS (with the bullets) and talk to him again. When he stops talking and the talk symbol appears again, press A and you'll end up on a hilltop overlooking 6 enemies. The objective in the second part of this mission is to wait for a total 48 hours (anywhere from 1hour to more than 10 hours) waiting for SGT WALTERS and SGT HURT to arrive with your target. When they appear you'll have a 20 second window of opportunity to shoot your target. If your seen, miss the target, shoot a guard, or any such actions you will FAIL this mission. So be careful when doing this mission. I just found all of this out waited a half hour an got sick of siting here because theres more missions to do right now. Good luck, aim small miss small.
