First you go to Roster Management and edit the team you want. (The starting five would be easier).
Then start season and pick the team you want.When you start the season the team should be on 99. then skip all the games.
You should have lost no games if you did you probaly lost 1-2 games.
P.S. If you want to win MVP and diffrent awards then play the season out.
