Random fighter
To play as a random character, just press up and A together at the fighter select screen.
Disable throws in versus mode game
To disable thorwing in versus mode hold down down and HP on both player controllers, it will tell you if you have activated this feature.
Fight against Noob Saibot
Win 50 consecutive matches.
Fight against Smoke
Press Down + Start when Dan says "Toasty" on the Bridge stage.
Fight against Jade
Play the game until the match that precedes the "?" match. Beat your opponent using just low kicks and you should be up against Jade in the "?" match.
Pong
Complete 250 versus matches.

Get alternate costumes
You can get different costumes by highlighting a fighter at the character select screen and pressing either 1 + 2, 1 + 3, or 1 +4.

The following are some of the finishing moves for 5 of the characters:
Diablo: x+y+a+b; Left thumbstick in a circular motion to the left twice.
Armadon: Spike Barrage: x+y+a+b; right, left, right,left.
Vertigo:(will take a couple of times to get). Y+b; l,l,l then x+y+a+b; right,right.
Sauron: Bone Smash: x+y+a+b; down(cont.)
Talon: Baby Talons: x+y+a+b; are,l,r,l,r.
Blizzard: Soul Lifter: x+y+a+b; left (5 times).
