Magic The Gathering: Battlegrounds Hints for XBox
For the last guy built a blue and green deck (primary colour doesnt matter)which includes the following:
Counterspell,
Untammed wilds,
Overrun,
Unsummon (if wanted but not necessary)
Llanowar elf,
Clone,
Elvish warrior,
Giant spider,
Avatar of might,
Giant growth,
If you don't want unsummon then I would go with mahumity djinn or another card of your choice.
Now slowly take your time and whenever he plays a high cost spell try and use counterspell but if it a low cost spell try and put llanowar elf infront when the monster gets near you.
For an easy when you can put 4 llanowar elfs out and for a defense you can put a giant spider or just keep summoning elvish warrior when needed. When green gets full summon one more llanowar elf and then use overrun and keep trying to use it since it will get through before your health runs out then when possible try summoning your big guys and try using clone on your own guys.
This way always works out for me when I'm playing

If your on the last level (which I beat) then you know its tough!
To beat it make a green spellbook and put these spells in it.
Elvis warrior,giant spider,avatar of might,giant growth,and untamed wilds.When he sends out that flying guy shield him and smack him every time,and when he plays elvis warrior play elvis warior.
At one point he won't play elvis warrior so play untamed wilds,and when you get the big flying guy down to 1 life smack him.
Now get 7 mana and smack the opposing elvis warriors and when he plays the big flying guy play avatar of might so he won't counter spell it.
When you can (and I don't mean whenever you get two mana)give avatar of might giant growth, and when you get down to 4 life play giant spider to block the giant flyer!
Note:This will take a good 10 times, but it works!
