Some helpful Advice...hopefully

I've been playing halo2 since it was first released in the uk and have found many useful things to help me in missions on heroic and legendary(nasty) and fighting people on multi-player.

Starting of point for new legendary players

Cairo Station(legendary)

I completed this lvl with 2 guns and grenades. Battle Rifle and plasma Pistol.

I discovered when playing through this lvl I was always always always dying until eventually I found out the easy way. Quite simple actually keep urself hidden in corners but can still view and opponent use the battle rifle and fire at a grunts head once and thats a legendary mode grunt dead with 1 shot. Elites are a bit harder(obviously) but simple charge up the plasma pistol, shoot the elite which will instantly take down it's sheild then pop a battle rifle shot in the head and hoorah 2 shots, dead elite on legendary, but the ultra elites(white ones) will need more than that. The drones I used a battle rifle for them annoying dudes.

Multi_player Maps

Just a litlle advice which honestly I never lose with.

In bigger levels such as headlong get a sniper rifle and beam rifle or rocket launcher(but taking both snipers will make it harder for the enemy too kill you) get a banshee and fly up too the highest point above the area where you get the sniper rifle, this way you can see the majority of the map and people can hardly touch you. The rocket launcher may be needed because the banshee will eventually dissapear in which case your opponent can fly up and kill you , but the rocket laucher will easily take it down. You need too have a good snipers shot too this tactic will totally P*** off your opponents as witnessed

In smaller maps duel weild as much as possible preferably plasma rifles or needlers. Or you can use the plasma pistol and battle rifle tactic. If there is one grab a rocket laucher and blow the stuffing into your opponent (which I think is cowardly)
