Not a great cheat but it's just like Baulders Gate.
Take a Character all the way through the game to the end then start a new game and import your powerful char to the new game via.
second or third controller and hand over all the items you have gained through the levels.
Big hint save all the books that give + level up points.
Can max out your characters abilities before even gaining first level.
